AI Helper Tool is an AI support tool for structured learning routines. It includes a teacher version for building activities and a no-login staff version for LEARN-based study support.
1. Intended use
AI Helper Tool is intended to support learning, revision, feedback, reflection and teacher-created activity design. It is not a replacement for teacher planning, curriculum judgement, student support plans, assessment decisions or school-approved digital safety processes.
2. No-login staff version
The staff version can be used without a student account. Users may upload files, paste task and criteria information, or type what they need help with. File upload and task/criteria paste are optional pathways.
3. Staff sign-in and My Activities
Staff sign-in is optional. My Activities is intended for signed-in staff use and should not be presented as a student account or student profile area.
4. AI-generated content
AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for a specific context. Users must check generated content before relying on it. Teachers remain responsible for reviewing accuracy, age suitability, curriculum alignment, cultural safety, privacy, copyright, bias and assessment integrity.
5. Student responsibilities
Users should use AI Helper Tool to understand learning goals and success criteria, engage with the activity, assess their work, record learning evidence and identify next steps. Users should not use AI Helper Tool to avoid doing their own thinking or to submit AI-generated work as their own where that breaches school assessment rules.
6. Privacy and prohibited information
Do not enter unnecessary personal or sensitive information. Do not enter student passwords, addresses, medical information, behaviour records, private family details or other sensitive personal information. Use non-identifying examples where possible.
7. Teacher-created links and embeds
Teachers may create public activity links and QLearn embed code. Anyone with the link may be able to access the activity, so teachers should check content carefully before sharing.
8. Availability and changes
AI Helper Tool may change, be unavailable, or return errors. Schools should not rely on it as the only place where essential learning, assessment or safety information is stored.
9. Responsible use
By using AI Helper Tool, users agree to use it responsibly, follow school policies and comply with applicable laws and assessment expectations.
